Class meets on consecutive Thursdays 7--9pm EDT:

August 4, 11, 18, 25

Class will consist of both a lecture and a practical portion in which students play each other in exercise positions.

Students are welcome to continue hanging out and playing after the conclusion of class at 9pm.

Recommended for the following rating ranges:

USCF: Up to 1500 LiChess: Up to 1800 Rapid/Blitz Chess.com: Up to 1700 Rapid/Blitz

About the Instructor:

John Hardin is a USCF Expert and has been teaching chess professionally for ten years. He was responsible for the management and coaching of the TAG School for Young Scholars chess team in New York City from 2012 to 2020, bringing that program up from scratch to compete regularly at State and City Championship tournaments. In addition to his work with school programs, John works privately with students all over the country and of all ages.
